Xenia Gregoriadis is a Brighton-based artist. Her work explores embodiment and the felt sense of being in relationship — with others, and with paint itself. Working through colour, touch and surface, paint becomes a site where memory and emotion emerge. Her paintings often begin with a resonance — something glimpsed in a photograph, gesture or atmosphere — which then unfolds through material process. She is interested in how we read and feel one another, and in the subtle exchanges between bodies.
Xenia completed a UAL Level 3 Foundation Diploma in Art and Design with Distinction at Brighton Metropolitan College before graduating with First Class Honours in BA (Hons) Fine Art Painting from the University of Brighton.
Her work has been selected for the Jackson’s Art Prize Extended Longlist and featured in the a-n Degree Shows Guide.
